Product Details
The wells of Mohen-jo-Daro represent one of the most example of ancient Indus Valley Civilization Mohen-jo-Daro (circa 2500 BCE). The wells of Mohenjo-Daro were likely the primary source of drinking water for the residents.
These wells, made from baked bricks, were strategically located throughout the city to ensure easy access to water for daily needs, such as drinking, cooking, and bathing. Archaeologists have discovered more than 700 wells in the city, showing that nearly every neighborhood had its own supply of water, making Mohenjo-Daro one of the earliest cities to provide such a decentralized water supply system.
