This is a hand block print cotton tie made using natural dyes in Sindh, Pakistan. The cream comes from natural resist printing. The rust from madder root. The black from a dye bath that takes time, not shortcuts. Every botanical sprig was pressed individually by hand using a carved wooden block, which is why the spacing shifts, the edges breathe, and no two ties are identical.
